Here is my model of WCP/1 'Sir Roger Lumley'. This loco was built in 1928+ and used to haul teh Deccan Express. Top speed of 130KMPH it di Bombay to Poona in 2 Hours 45 Minutes 9It take about 3 hours today). The last frame shows actual prototype.
Here my WAG-9 pulls a goods train on the lower deck of my layout; crossing Bombay station on way to the helix for upper deck
Video starts with a smoking diesel waiting for the WAP 4 to pass its track. WAP4 then pulls out of the station and navigates thru yards at Delhi.
Here an automated track cleaning machine pulls out of Bombay Dock/yard and then cleans the track leading from main line to the yard, in the end track cleaning machine is shut down.

WCM 1 hauling the Deccan Queen

Cleaning track on my layout
Cleaning track on my layout is critical to keep trains running; in Florida due to humidity it oxidizes track and electrical conductivity is lost, I clean on an average every 6-8 weeks. I use two WDM2 Locos one pulling one pushing. The first cleaner is a Lux-Modelbau track grinder. Second is Lux-Modelbau Vacuum (both from Germany both have a DCC decoder in them)) third is CMX liquid tank filled with Rubbing Alcohol (weighs about 1 lb) . This is a heavy load for two locos especially on incline to upper deck. Locos have to strain at full power to climb it.

The Indian KEKDA (Crab) locomotive. This was a freight locomotive used on the Western Ghats. Indian Railway's First Electric Goods Locomotive.... EF/1 (WCG1) Mark 2 on my layout. I have three slightly different models of same basic locomotive.
WCG-1 (EF/1) ‘Crocodile / Krokodil’ on my layout with a goods train leaving Bombay yard. These were very popular on the western ghats. Having an articulated body useful for tight curves on ghats, mainly used for freight.
My Self propelled diesel breakdown crane crossing the Tiger pass bridge on the upper deck
My Plasser & Theurer Tamping machine in action on my layout. Although these were introduced in India way after the period of this layout, I like the workings of these machines.
