WDG4G Dual Cab diesel locomotive on my layout
Brand new WDG4G diesel loco model. just demonstrating sounds and some characteristics of this loco. The prototype is made by GE of USA and is a GE Evolution design. It’s a dual-cab locomotive with a 4,500-horsepower engine. A total of about 700 GE ES43ACmi (4500 HP) 300 ES57ACi - single cab (6000 HP) will be produced.
WDM2 Jumbo with a goods train
A rare WDM2 Jumbo locomotive operating on my layout. These were WDM2 locos which had full-width short hood; these are unofficially termed 'Jumbos'. These were apparently produced with the idea of improving the visibility for the drivers
WDM2G Pulling out from Swai Madhopur Junction
Here a multi gen set WDM2G pulls out of Swai Madhupur junction with a goods train. This is the latest ALCO, based on the WDM3D with it’s same underframe and high-adhesion bogies. The single 3300 hp engine of the WDM3D has been replaced by three 800 hp “gensets” which can work individually in parallel. This means that one, two or three of the Gensets can be operated depending on the situation and power required, translating into tremendous energy-efficiency (two engines can be shut down while running light or idling). Looks only vaguely like the Indian ALCOs and more like American locomotives
WDM2 18288 with a three car goods train
Here an old WDM2 starts up and then hauls a short goods train to Bombay Yard, where it shuts down.. This model is heavly weathered and looks like a very well used loco.

A WDM2 clone first backs into a train at Bombay station, loco is switched off next loco is started, guard whistles start and it slowly pulls out of the station.

Fast train from Delhi to Bombay hauled by a WDM2
My model of WDM4 diesel a GM/EMD supplied diesel. These were once the fastest locomotives of IR. As GM was not willing to share technology the ALCO supplied WDM2 was chosen to become the premier diesel locomotive of India. Here it is pulling out of Swai Madhopur station on my layout with a short goods train.
